This paper describes the methodology of estimation of sustainable development of a region on the basis of a system of weighted target indicators, adjusted in accordance with goals and tasks of regional management. The authors analyze an example of practical application of the methodology in St. Petersburg and draw the conclusions about an influence of objective indicators and subjective value orientations of residents on sustainable development of the region.
