oftware Testing is one of the expensive activities in Software development lifecycle but it used in to assure the quality of the Software. One of the important focuses in software engineering process is lessen the effort of software testing and cut down the cost & time of testing. This paper presents a unified method for reducing the test cases by adopting the hypothesis of Genetic algorithm such as crossover, mutation and crowding distance to elucidate the given problem and results in the minimum set of test cases with the ability to cover all the faults in minimum time
