After a short introduction to the mathematical modelling of the elastic dynamic problem, which shows the similarity between the governing Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) in different applications, common blocks for Finite Element approximation are identified, and an Object Oriented Programming (OOP) methodology for linear and non-linear, stationary and dynamic problems is presented. Advantages of this approach are commented and some results are shown as examples of this methodology
