Multiple criteria and multiple constraint-level (MC 2) linear programming has become a major part and a focus issue of Multiple Criteria Decision Making. This paper provides a comprehensive and up-to-date view on MC 2 linear programming, including its concepts, developments of techniques and applications. Given the idea of potential solution, MC 2 -simplex method is motivated by the well-known simplex method of LP and MC 2 interior-point method is inspired by the MC interior-point method. Finally the application status and potential application fields of MC 2 LP are given as well
