El artículo plantea los principales problemas que dificultan el establecimiento de relaciones entre el conocimiento sobre la educación y las prácticas reales de enseñanza en España en los últimos años. Ofrece una perspectiva histórica: la distancia entre la universidad y la escuela, la ruptura fraguada desde el pasado entre la teoría y la práctica, la orientación académica de la formación inicial del profesorado, las culturas profesionales de los centros y la difícil comunicación entre teóricos y prácticos. En el artículo se aportan líneas de trabajo que contribuyen a superar estas limitaciones desde la formación docente: la creación de ciclos de investigación-acción, los acuerdos interinstitucionales, la construcción de un conocimiento profesional docente, la adopción de un enfoque realista y la construcción de pequeñas pedagogías. Se concluye con la relevancia del papel que tiene el profesorado para superar esta ruptura.This article poses different problems that complicate establishing associations between knowledge about education and actual teaching practices in Spain in recent years. It offers a historical perspective: the distance between the university and school, the hardened, past rift between theory and practice, academic guidance for the initial stages of teaching, professional cultures of learning centers, and the difficult communication between theorists and practitioners. The article offers courses of action that can help to overcome these limitations through professor training on the following topics: creation of action research cycles, inter-institutional agreements, building professional teaching knowledge, adopting a realistic approach and building small pedagogies. The article concludes with a reflection on the relevance of the role of professors in overcoming this rift
