The Academy Colloquium ‘Fungal Phylogenomics’, being a prelude to the centenary celebrations of the Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS), was held at the seat and under the auspices of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and the CBS Centenary Committee. The opening words by Prof. Wendelaar Bonga on behalf of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences included some remarks on the history of the Academy and its seat, the beautiful “Trippenhuis”. Prof. Bonga also stressed the value of the CBS and its international contacts to the Academy and the Dutch government
