To evaluate the usefulness of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) and brain B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) for predicting postoperative atrial fibrillation (AF), we determined the changes in perioperative ANP and BNP levels in patients undergoing pulmonary resection for lung cancer.
