In the treatment of advanced stages of lung cancer, increasingly more multimodality approaches applying radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy in a neo-adjuvant setting are being introduced. The impact of induction therapy, especially radiotherapy, on bronchial tissue viability has not been investigated so far.
