A 22-year-old male was admitted with acute anterior myocardial infarction. Coronary angiography showed an occluded LAD, presumably due to emboli (Fig. 1), which could be dislodged. Transoesophagal echocardiography revealed a nodular mass on the anterior mitral leaflet (Fig. 2). Surgical resection and valve repair were performed; pathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of fibro-elastoma.
