Neovascularization of left atrial myxoma

A 74-year-old woman presented with exertion dyspnea. Echocardiography and coronary angiography revealed a large left atrial mass with abnormal neovascularization within multiple lacunae (Fig. 1). The patient was operated on and an atypical myxomatous mass was excised (Fig. 2). Fig. 1. Left, mass in the left atrial cavity (white star).
