The Symmetrytrade mark aortic connector creates proximal anastomoses of saphenous vein grafts using a nitinol implant. The device avoids partial clamping and thus possibly reduces neurologic complications. To evaluate graft patency, a single surgeon randomised study was performed in our institution.
