The modified simple equation method is an efficient method for obtaining exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. In this paper, the modified simple equation method is applied to construct exact solutions of the modified equal width (MEW) equation and the Fisher equation and the nonlinear Telegraph equation and the Cahn–Allen equation. The Fisher equation plays a very important role in mathematical physics and engineering sciences. The new exact solution of the Fisher equation is obtained.
