Meson production in e+e− annihilation in the LEP energy range including gluino fragmentation

We calculate π- and K-meson production rates in e+e- collisions at LEP energies, taking into account contributions introduced by supersymmetric QCD below the squark production threshold, assumed to be further away. Although suppressed in the inclusive rate, we find a nonnegligible probability for gluinos to fragment into slow ordinary mesons. © 1985 Società Italiana di Fisica
