Expanded programme on immunization

This report to the Executive Board is a forward-looking document highlighting the achievements, lessons learned, goals, policies, strategies and approaches for the Expanded Programme on Immunization for the 1990s. The Programme's Global Advisory Group endorsed the report in October 1991,together with actions proposed for the 1990s. The Executive Board may wish to consider a resolution along the lines of a proposed draft resolution suggested by the Programme's Global Advisory Group, that will be distributed during the Executive Board meeting. Figures showing immunization coverage and estimates of prevented and actual mortality and morbidity are included in the Annex.
