The Inglis-Teller relation, generalized for a hydrogen-like or alkali-like ion with an arbitrary core charge, is used to estimate the electron density in the emission-line region of Wolf-Rayet stars. It is found that the electron density in the region which gives rise to Heii emission lines is ?4×1014 cm-3.
