The process of electron-positron annihilation into quark-antiquark is considered with non-relativistic potential account of final state interaction. Calculations are made for confining potentials, with discrete bound final states, and for corresponding non-confining potentials, with continua of finally free quark-antiquark pairs. When suitably averaged over energy the two ways of calculating agree closely, illustrating well the local duality concept. (12 refs)
