The W3C is working on a Recommendation for Web Services Description Language, based on XML. The Working Group is chartered to produce a normative mapping of WSDL into RDF, effectively a WSDL ontology. While this work is still ongoing, in this paper we propose guide- lines for creating such ontologies coming from XML standards.
