Quantum dots (QDs) are excellent quantum emitters with many applications in photonic quantum technologies. They can act as on‐demand sources of indistinguishable photons and entangled photon pairs. As reported in article 2200133 by Stephan Reitzenstein and colleagues, a resonantly excited quantum dot grown on (111)B GaAs substrate enables triggered emission of single indistinguishable photons in a Hong‐Ou‐Mandel‐type experiment.
