An ABA triblock copolymer with a mechanochemically active gem ‐dichlorocyclopropane rich polyester block is synthesized via chain extension with polymethylacrylate under SET‐LRP conditions. The platform allows for the efficient mechanochemical ring opening of the g DCC groups to 2,3‐dichloroalkenes, a promising approach to the synthesis of high mechanophore content polymers with enhanced stability.
