The title compound, Na 2 (Me 4 N) 2 [Ni(OH) 3 W 6 O 18 (OCH 2 ) 3 CCH 2 OH]·9H 2 O is synthesized from an aqueous solution of Na 2 WO 4 , Ni(NO 3 ) 2 , and HNO 3 (pH 6.5, 25 °C, 10 d) followed by addition of C(CH 2 ‐OH) 4 (reflux, 80 °C, 5 h), and Me 4 NCl (55% yield).
