(1) Material type

(2) Subject

(3) Publication title

(4) Language

(5) Geographic coverage

The Material type facet refines your search results to the format (style) of the resource you select. You can choose to see results from journals, e-books, reports, conference materials, news and more.

The Subject facet refines your search results to only the resources that are primarily about the subject you select.

The Publication title facet refines your search results by the title of the larger publication. This is a good facet to use if you want to see materials that are published by a specific journal, magazine, newspaper, edited book (with chapters by different authors), or other publication that includes many parts.

The Language facet refines your search results by the language in which the resource is available.

The Geographic coverage facet refines your search results to resources about a particular geographic area. Not all resources indicate which geographic areas are covered; therefore, using this filter may exclude some useful resources.

Zendy contains material from lots of different sources. The Subject facet uses one set of subject terms for all the material in Zendy so that you can find everything related to that subject, no matter where the original publication comes from. In the expanded preview, the Keywords are descriptors that are used by the different source publishers, or may even come from the authors themselves.
