In this letter, we propose an iterative joint detection algorithm of Kalmanfilter (KF) and channel decoder for the sensor-to-controller link of wirelessnetworked control systems, which utilizes the prior information of controlsystem to improve the control and communication performance. In the algorithm,we first use the KF to estimate the probability density of the control systemoutputs and calculate the prior probability of received signals to assistdecoding. Then, the possible outputs of the control system are traversed toupdate the prior probability in order to implement iterative detection. Thesimulation results show that the prior information can reduce the block errorrate performance of communications to improve the root mean square errorperformance of controls.
