Nos encontramos ante un sugerente trabajo en el que la profesora María José Bravo continúa, esta vez en solitario, con una línea de investigación en la que ha venido destacando en los últimos años, cuando coordinó, junto a la profesora Rosalía Rodríguez, dos interesantes obras colectivas: Mulier: algunas historias e instituciones de derecho romano (2013) y Mujeres en tiempos de Augusto: realidad social e imposición legal (2016). En esta ocasión, se servirá de dos poderosas figuras    de la Roma antigua, Lucrecia y Cornelia, para indagar en algunas de las instituciones jurídicas e históricas más significativas dentro de la historia de la Roma republicana. Estas mujeres, así como los hechos que protagonizaron, tendrían una influencia futura que traspasará con mucho los límites espacio-temporales del mundo romano. We are facing a suggestive work in which Professor María José Bravo continues, this time alone, with a line of research in which she has been standing out in recent years, when she coordinated, together with Professor Rosalía Rodríguez, two interesting works Collectives: Mulier: Some Histories and Institutions of Roman Law (2013) and Women in the Times of Augustus: Social Reality and Legal Imposition (2016). On this occasion, she will use two powerful figures from ancient Rome, Lucrezia and Cornelia, to investigate some of the most significant legal and historical institutions in the history of republican Rome. These women, as well as the events they starred in, would have a future influence that will go far beyond the space-time limits of the Roman world.
