The article provides data on the issuance of the order of the People's Commissar of Defense No. 281 on August 23, 1941, which stipulated the possibility of rewarding junior and middle medical personnel for good combat work during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. in connection with the provision of medical assistance to the wounded and sick on the battlefield.
