The article discusses the development of green architecture and ecological urbanism, as the most relevant and important today. A number of examples from international architectural and urban planning practices are given. The characteristics of green architecture technology and directions of the development of eco-urbanism are described on the basis of the presented examples. This article is a review in the framework of the master's study on the topic «Green architecture on the example of the largest cities of Kazakhstan».
