Comparisons between Bosmina coregoni and Bosmina longirostris in fish stomachs and net plankton showed a larger mean size in the stomachs and a clear preference for the larger species, B. coregoni. Vertebrate and invertebrate predators may influence distribution and numeric relations between the two species.
