Analysis of radiation from distant quasars suggested that the value of the fine-structure constant α=e2/4πε0hc changed in time during the evolution of the Universe. We estimate the cosmological time variability of the fine-structure constant from the analysis of an ensemble of Fe II λ1608, λ2344, λ2374, λ2383, λ2587 and λ2600 absorption lines at redshift z = 1.15 toward the QSO HE 0515-4414 using our new method. Our result is Δα/α=(–0.157±0.300)×10-6 . This result is the strongest constraint on Δα/α based on the analysis of FeII from quasar absorption lines in the literature
