Asparagopsis taxiformis ( Rhodophyta ) is a species of red algae belonging to the family Bonnemaisoniaceae . The objective of the present study was to evaluate antioxidant and antiproliferative activity of four fractions (petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate, and methanol) of A. taxiformis .
