The rehabilitation of a patient undergone maxillectomy requires a prosthesis that provides with the optimum appearance and functional results. Scarce literature has been published regarding the prevalence of maxillary defects related to palatal obturator prosthesis. This study evaluates the incidence of the maxillectomy defects among different age groups, gender, side involved, and etiology.
