With advent of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (covid-19) pandemic, need for a dedicated government hospital was felt. Following directions after a cabinet decision, a dedicated Covid hospital was made functional within a month in Central district of Delhi. This manuscript briefs the journey and challenges experienced during this mission.
