Opioid-induced constipation (OIC) causes a significant worsening of quality of life (QOL). The patient assessment of constipation QOL questionnaire (PAC-QOL) is a validated scale in English language to assess the QOL in patients with chronic constipation and guide the management by measuring response to a targeted therapy.
