Biochemical Vitamin D deficiency is said to be present universally in recent times. However, its effect is more profound in modulation of anthropometric and biochemical risk factors of various chronic metabolic disorders rather than its influence on bone mineral abnormalities. The present study was undertaken to compare various anthropometric and biochemical parameters including basic bone mineral biochemistry in various strata of Vitamin D status.
