Pregnant women are more prone to vulvovaginitis which is a great challenge for obstetricians today. In Ayurveda , Upapluta Yonivyapad described by Acharya Charaka , Sharangadhara , and both Vagbhata can be compared to vulvovaginitis during pregnancy.
