On the 3rd of October of 1968 the Armed Forces of the Peru (Fuerzas Armadas del Perú) initiated the process referred to as "Revolucíon". As Nalewajko notes this term is used according to its military understanding, but is still a 'true' revolution. The changes were against traditional power structures and aimed at benefitting the majority. Nalewajko's also recounts the official propaganda of the military government, which has an obvious positive bias. English abstract/description written by Michał Gilewski
