The ideological, aesthetic and genre originality of the Russian writer of Kyrgyzstan Dmitry Ashcheulov in the context of the historical and cultural tendencies of the modern literary process are revealed in this article. From the point of view of the artistic method, Dmitry Ashcheulov's stories can be attributed to the culture of postmodernism, at the same time, they are characterized by the setting of social and moral problems and a humanistic principle.
