Geoelectrical soundings have been carried out at six drill sites in Holsteinsborg in the summer of 1969. The investigated localities were situated both in and outside areas with estimated permafrost occurrence. At four localities the soundings showed higher resistivities than would be expected for purely lithological reasons; the last two showed more normal vertical resistivity distribution reflecting lithological differences.
