The sedimentological data described and discussed below were collected during a period of 47 days in the summer of 1986. The fjeld work was carried out over 23 days from four camps: Tartunaq, Akuneq, Skansen and Tuapait (fig. 1). The main objective was investigation of the Naujat Member, through which a number ofsections were measured, but in addition the under- and overlying, predominantly sandy facies associations were also studied.
