SIBARU: Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Santri Baru Pondok Pesantren AlQur’an Zaenuddin

Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi semakin maju dan sangat pesat, salah satunya internet. Internet menyediakan berbagai layanan dan informasi. Dengan adanya internet, masyarakat lebih mudah mendapatkan informasi yang lebih cepat dan efisien. Dalam pemanfaatannya teknologi informasi dapat digunakan sepenuhnya di dunia pendidikan yang tertuang dalam sebuah website di internet sebagai media publikasi dan pendaftaran sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu dan kualitasnya. Khususnya dalam penyediaan informasi di bidang pendidikan seperti informasi peneriman santri baru Pondok Pesantren Al-Qur’an Zaenuddin yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Oleh karena itu penulis merancang sebuah sistem informasi penerimaan santri baru Pondok Pesantren Al-Qur’an Zaenuddin berbasis website. Dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah proses pendaftaran dan penerimaan calon santri yang dapat diakses dari mana saja dan dikapan  saja tanpa harus datang ke tempat ponpes Al-Qur’an Zaenuddin sehingga proses pendaftaran ini lebih optimal, efektif dan efisien sebagai bentuk pelayanan optimal ponpes kepada santri, sekaligus sebagai media informasi dan promosi ponpes kepada masyrakat secara luas dan diharapkan dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kesalahan dalam input data serta mempercepat proses pencatatannya.Kata Kunci : Sistem Penerimaan Santri Baru, Internet, Efektif, Efisien, Promosi The development of Information Technology is increasingly advanced and very rapidly, one of which is the internet. The Internet provides a variety of services and information. With the internet, it is easier for people to get information faster and more efficiently. In its utilization, information technology can be fully used in the world of education which is contained in a website on the internet as a medium for publication and school registration to improve its quality and quality. Especially in the provision of information in the field of education such as information on the acceptance of new students at the Al-Qur'an Zaenuddin Islamic Boarding School which is still done manually. Therefore, the author designed a website-based information system for the acceptance of new students at the Al-Qur'an Zaenuddin Islamic Boarding School. With the aim of simplifying the registration process and acceptance of prospective students that can be accessed from anywhere and anytime without having to come to the Zaenuddin Islamic boarding school so that the registration process is more optimal, effective and efficient as a form of optimal Islamic boarding school service to students, as well as as a medium of information and promotion of Islamic boarding schools to the community at large and is expected to minimize errors in data input and speed up the recording process.Keywords: New Santri Reception System, Internet, Effective, Efficient, Promotion
