It was conducted a study that has resulted in the development of an experimental device that meets these requirements. When studying the operation of this device, rational parameters and modes of its operation are determined. One of these important indicators of the device is its energy indicators. This article provides materials to select and justify the most advantageous mode of operation of the drum of the new device, which allows obtaining high productivity with minimal damage and less energy consumption per unit of processed materials.
