The present study usedPCR for identify genes encoding aminoglycoside-modifying enzymes in S.Typhimurium, these primers for detection str gene which responsible for resistance to streptomycin, and we found these nine isolates detected by these primers and produce specific PCR product is an250-bp fragment which was visualized by gel electrophoresis and ethidium bromide staining.,other studies also conducted for detection this gene in S. Typhimurium, use these specific primer for detection str gene during evolution of antibiotic resistance in S. Typhimurium strains.
