The article analyzes some basic causes of conflicts in modern Armenian family connected with the general decline of economic and moral situation in post-soviet Armenia. Statistical data, results of some sociological investigations, and also the results of observations in the process of social work with risk group families provided the author a possibility to present some destructive results of family conflicts for children, mothers and elders. In the result of the conducted investigation a question is raised to create a multi-functional centre for supporting families and resolving family conflicts taking into account national and cultural specificities of our people.
