The paper features two letters from historian and lawyer Slobodan Jovanovic addressed to writer and diplomat Milan Rakic. This correspondence provides interesting information on their mutual ties and relations. The influence of the journal ?The Serbian Literary Gazette? and the impact of Rakic?s poetry is reflected in this correspondence and gives an insight into the time in which they originated. Therefore the letters are considered a significant contribution to the history of Serbian culture.
