Ethiopia has a very high burden of HIV infection among children, contracted from their mothers, and nearly two-thirds of pregnant women do not receive prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) services. Ensuring clients' satisfaction with PMTCT services is one of the bases to scale up service utilization and mitigate MTCT of HIV. However, in Ethiopia, particularly in the study area, evidence related to clients' satisfaction with PMTCT services is scanty.
