The technique of simultaneous integrated boost volumetric modulated arc therapy (SIB-VMAT) has been widely used in locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer; however, its dosimetric advantages are seldom reported. This study aimed to quantify dosimetric advantages of SIB-VMAT.
