Aim of the research knows the effect of the use of Strategy Self-table in the achievement of the students of the fifth grade for math subject and retention. Sample of the research consisted of (58) male and female pupils of the fifth grade base in the city of Erbil for the academic year (2015-2016) and divided into two equal groups experimental and controlling. The two groups equivalent in a number of variables.To achieve the aim of the research, the researchers prepared a an objective of multi-choice type and the number of items as a final (34), after application of the experiment by the researchers and apply the tools of the research, the data’s statistically analyzed and the results indicated to: There were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of pupils in the experimental and control groups in the achievement and retention and in favor of the experimental group in both variables.
