Tourism media is the best method to supply and show the tourism area in the country, whether natural or historic, hotels or any other appearance or area of tourist attractions .On the one hand, using all means of mass media and communication abilities to attract foreign and local tourists. On the other hand, attract investors to invest in the tourism sector. The aim of this study is to identify the role of tourism media in tourism development, and its impact on the economy of the region in terms of the composition of the total revenues and attract investments to the field of tourism in Kurdistan Region. Furthermore, In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researchers used the descriptive analytical method. The period 2007-2014 was chosen in order to highlight the tourist media impacts in tourism development for that period. Finally, the results of the study indicated that the role of tourism media in a region was not at the required level and its economic reflects in terms of increasing the numbers of tourists, tourism revenues and attract investment.
