Potencial produtivo de cultivares de videira na unidade demonstrativa do Instituto Federal Catarinense - Campus Rio do Sul

An orchard was installed at the Instituto Federal Catarinense - Campus Rio do Sul to verify the development of vines in the Edaphoclimatic conditions of the Alto Vale do Itajai-SC, with Paulsen rootstock, grafted by the green grafting method, with ten different cultivars. The necessary management in the orchard was carried out along with the winter pruning and the performance of the cultivars was evaluated. The cultivars ‘BRS Carmen’ 6,4 kg/pl, Isabel Precoce 3,6 kg/pl  and ‘BRS Isis’3,1 kg/pl, showed better development in terms of production per plant, indicating potential use in the region. Technicians, farmers, and students from the region are interested in starting cultural activities based on the training and results obtained in the Demonstration Unit.
