This article has intended to study the practical social ability that the action of cooperatives has conferred to its beneficiaries in Bukavu town. In fact, several African countries have adopted the way towards entrepreneurship with cooperatives as a new paradigm of struggle against poverty. Nevertheless, micro-credits granted to members by the cooperative of thrift and credits have not so far proved their efficiency. The findings from this research study indicate that 53,9% of the respondents consider the actions of cooperatives as good opportunities to undertake some business, while 71,4% of respondents have induced that the cooperatives hold a beneficial effect in the enhancement of the capacity to create employments. Thus, opinions on the action of cooperatives of thrift and credits in Bukavu town are more positive to disfavored communities.
