Os álbuns fotojornalísticos online e a construção do acontecimento │ Photojournalistic online albums and the construction of an event

RESUMO Uma vez que o conjunto de escolhas envolvido na seleção das técnicas composicionais de uma fotografia é mediado por universos de valores, o objetivo do artigo é analisar as técnicas composicionais das fotografias publicadas por álbuns fotojornalísticos online sobre os protestos de junho de 2013. Esses álbuns apresentam fotografias de profissionais e amadores consideradas “as melhores” desse evento e, curiosamente, as fotografias escolhidas possuem várias técnicas de composição em comum. Nós iremos analisar essas imagens sob a perspectiva dos efeitos de sentido que as técnicas de composição engendram para entrever quais foram as significações urdidas a esse acontecimento nesses espaços.Palavras-chave: Fotojornalismo; Protestos; Técnicas de Composição; Produção de Sentido; Narrativas.ABSTRACT Given that the choices involved in the selection of compositional techniques in photography are mediated by values, this article aims to analyze the compositional techniques of photographs published by photojournalistic online albums during the protests of June 2013 in Brazil. These albums feature professional and amateur photographs considered "the best" of this event and, interestingly, the chosen photographs have several composition techniques in common. We will examine these images from the perspective of significant effects that these techniques engender with the objective of examining the meanings that were attributed to that event in those albums.Keywords: Photojournalism; Protests; Composition Techniques; Sense Production; Narratives.
