This paper is one of the attempts to approach the problem of fatigue failure, based on a systematic approach, which lies at the intersection of solid mechanics and physics of strength and plasticity. The paper describes methods for determining the fatigue life of the product, focused on the practical use during the design calculations and debugging studies based on existing theories of strength.
